A quiet note from The Committee: The CORE Oversized Hoodie is a shelter — a moving architecture of warmth, breath and space.
Its fleece interior grounds the body, while the outer shell holds structure through spirals, drills and slow transitions.
Built for dancers and rollerskaters who move between street, studio and silence, it offers weight without heaviness, presence without noise.

Wear it to anchor. Move to expand.

Silence. Balance. Middle Ground.

A lightweight mesh short designed as functional dancewear for dancers, rollerskaters, and modern movers working in sustained rhythm. Charcoal sits between shadow and clarity, supporting focus without absorbing movement.

The breathable mesh structure allows air to circulate freely while maintaining a stable presence on the body. Heat releases, tension softens, and rhythm remains uninterrupted across long sessions.

Color frequency: Charcoal. A balanced, neutral tone associated with calm focus and continuity. Charcoal reduces contrast without dulling form, making it ideal for repetition, research phases, and integrated practice.

A restrained UNCLASSD monogram stays close to the fabric — visible only on approach — marking belonging without display, and continuity over emphasis.

Built for studio repetition, the short follows motion without resistance and keeps the silhouette neutral — a base layer that adapts to pace, tempo, and fatigue.

CORE / MANIFESTO
CORE is the beginning. CORE is stillness before intention.
CORE is breath shaping the body from within.
CORE is presence held quietly, before motion takes form.
CORE is the grounding layer beneath the flow.
CORE is the calm that steadies the body before heat, rhythm, or release.
CORE is where clarity starts. CORE is where movement learns to listen.

SIZE GUIDE

This CORE short is a regular unisex fit built for studio repetition and breath. Each piece is made to order — use this guide to choose your size with clarity.

Fit Philosophy

  • Regular unisex cut: designed to move without cling.
  • Breath-first mesh: airflow support for warm studios and active sessions.
  • Two-way stretch: built for lunges, steps, and rotational pathways.
  • Elastic waistband: stable hold without compression.

How to Choose Your Size

1 — Choose your intention:

  • Standard studio fit → choose your usual size.
  • More freedom / relaxed short → size up.
  • More contained feel → size down if between sizes.

The size chart is based on waist and hips. When in doubt, compare with a short you already own that feels right in motion.

How to Measure Correctly

Option 1 — Measure a short you already own

  1. Lay your shorts flat on a table.
  2. Waist: measure straight across the waistband, then double it.
  3. Hips: measure the widest point across the seat area, then double it.
  4. Compare your results with the chart and choose the closest size for your intended fit.

Option 2 — Measure your body

  1. Stand relaxed with a soft measuring tape.
  2. Waist: measure around your natural waistline.
  3. Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips.
  4. Choose the size whose waist and hips values match or slightly exceed your measurements.

Important

This piece is made to order. For sizing accuracy, use the charts above before purchasing. Size-related returns and exchanges are unavailable because production starts after your order is placed.

Mesh is built for breath and mobility. For a more relaxed feel, size up.

MOVEMENT FIT GUIDE

The CORE Mesh Dance Short is built for breath, range, and studio repetition.

  • For a clean studio fit: choose your usual size. The short sits stable at the waist and stays open through movement, without clinging.
  • For maximum freedom and airflow: size up once. This creates a looser drape through the leg and a softer feel during long sessions.
  • If you are between sizes: decide by intention — size down for a more contained feel, size up for a more relaxed practice rhythm.
  • For high-intensity movement: choose a size that lets you travel, drop, rotate, and reset without the waistband shifting or the fabric catching on your thighs.

We encourage choosing a fit that supports your nervous system first.
A short that feels breathable, stable, and unrestrictive allows the body to stay present — especially during fast footwork, floorwork transitions, and repeated studio phrases.

FABRIC & FEEL

The CORE Mesh Dance Short is built from a recycled performance mesh — light, open, and designed to keep air moving through the body. It feels clean against the skin and stays responsive during long studio sessions.

The fabric has a two-way stretch that follows your range without pulling you back. It holds shape through repeated phrases, fast footwork, and low transitions, while keeping the leg free instead of compressed.

In motion, the mesh reads as breath and structure at once: it releases heat, dries quickly, and stays quiet. This is the CORE approach to intensity — presence without noise.

A fabric that lets the body breathe,
holds rhythm without resistance,
and stays quiet enough for movement to lead.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

  • 100% recycled polyester mesh — lightweight, open construction designed to promote airflow and thermal regulation during movement.
  • Fabric weight (EU): 190 g/m² (5.61 oz/yd²) — balanced mesh density that feels present without weighing the body down.
  • Fabric weight (US): 150 g/m² (4.42 oz/yd²) — lighter variation with the same performance intent, depending on production location.
  • Two-way stretch structure — supports lunges, drops, rotations, and directional changes without fabric resistance.
  • Moisture-wicking performance — helps manage heat and sweat through repeated studio phrases and extended sessions.
  • Regular unisex fit with elastic waistband — stable hold at the waist without compression or restriction.
  • UPF 50+ protection — additional coverage for outdoor training, warm-ups, and transitional movement between spaces.
  • Blank product manufacturing varies by fulfillment location: EU — knitting & dyeing in China, assembly in Latvia. US — knitting, dyeing, and manufacturing in Mexico.
  • Fabric certifications include OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. Recycled content certified by GRS (EU production) or RCS (US production), depending on manufacturing site.
  • As with all garments containing synthetic fibers, washing may release plastic microfibers into the environment. Washing at lower temperatures, using gentler cycles, and laundry filtration systems can help reduce this release over time.
These details create a short that feels light on the body,
reliable in repetition, and quiet in motion
a CORE layer built for studio practice, breath, and continuous movement.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Care for your CORE mesh short the way you care for your practice — with intention, regularity, and respect for breath.

  • Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors.
  • Do not use fabric softeners. They can coat the mesh fibers and reduce breathability and moisture control.
  • Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry to preserve elasticity and airflow.
  • Do not iron directly on the fabric or the printed monogram.
  • Do not dry clean.

This mesh fabric is designed for repeated movement and breath.
Washing gently helps maintain airflow, shape, and surface stability over time.
To reduce microfiber release, we recommend washing less frequently and

using a dedicated laundry filter or bag when possible.
