How to Choose Your Size

1 — Choose your intention:

Standard studio fit → choose your usual size.
More freedom / relaxed short → size up.
More contained feel → size down if between sizes.

The size chart is based on waist and hips. When in doubt, compare with a short you already own that feels right in motion.

How to Measure Correctly

Option 1 — Measure a short you already own

Lay your shorts flat on a table.
Waist: measure straight across the waistband, then double it.
Hips: measure the widest point across the seat area, then double it.
Compare your results with the chart and choose the closest size for your intended fit.

Option 2 — Measure your body

Stand relaxed with a soft measuring tape.
Waist: measure around your natural waistline.
Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Choose the size whose waist and hips values match or slightly exceed your measurements.

This piece is made to order. For sizing accuracy, use the charts above before purchasing. Size-related returns and exchanges are unavailable because production starts after your order is placed.

MOVEMENT FIT GUIDE

 The CORE Mesh Dance Short is built for breath, range, and studio repetition. 

For a clean studio fit: choose your usual size. The short sits stable at the waist and stays open through movement, without clinging.

For maximum freedom and airflow: size up once. This creates a looser drape through the leg and a softer feel during long sessions.

If you are between sizes: decide by intention — size down for a more contained feel, size up for a more relaxed practice rhythm.

For high-intensity movement: choose a size that lets you travel, drop, rotate, and reset without the waistband shifting or the fabric catching on your thighs.
We encourage choosing a fit that supports your nervous system first. 
A short that feels breathable, stable, and unrestrictive allows the body to stay present — especially during fast footwork, floorwork transitions, and repeated studio phrases.

    The CORE Mesh Dance Short is built from a recycled performance mesh — light, open, and designed to keep air moving through the body.
    It feels clean against the skin and stays responsive during long studio sessions.
  
    The fabric has a two-way stretch that follows your range without pulling you back.
    It holds shape through repeated phrases, fast footwork, and low transitions, while keeping the leg free instead of compressed.
  
    In motion, the mesh reads as breath and structure at once: it releases heat, dries quickly, and stays quiet.
    This is the CORE approach to intensity — presence without noise.

        100% recycled polyester mesh — lightweight, open construction designed to promote airflow and thermal regulation during movement.
      
        Fabric weight (EU): 190 g/m² (5.61 oz/yd²) — balanced mesh density that feels present without weighing the body down.
      
        Fabric weight (US): 150 g/m² (4.42 oz/yd²) — lighter variation with the same performance intent, depending on production location.
      
        Two-way stretch structure — supports lunges, drops, rotations, and directional changes without fabric resistance.
      
        Moisture-wicking performance — helps manage heat and sweat through repeated studio phrases and extended sessions.
      
        Regular unisex fit with elastic waistband — stable hold at the waist without compression or restriction.
      
        UPF 50+ protection — additional coverage for outdoor training, warm-ups, and transitional movement between spaces.
      
        Blank product manufacturing varies by fulfillment location:
        EU — knitting & dyeing in China, assembly in Latvia.
        US — knitting, dyeing, and manufacturing in Mexico.
      
        Fabric certifications include OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
        Recycled content certified by GRS (EU production) or RCS (US production), depending on manufacturing site.
      
        As with all garments containing synthetic fibers, washing may release plastic microfibers into the environment.
        Washing at lower temperatures, using gentler cycles, and laundry filtration systems can help reduce this release over time.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

 Care for your CORE mesh short the way you care for your practice — with intention, regularity, and respect for breath. 

Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors.
Do not use fabric softeners. They can coat the mesh fibers and reduce breathability and moisture control.
Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry to preserve elasticity and airflow.
Do not iron directly on the fabric or the printed monogram.
Do not dry clean.
This mesh fabric is designed for repeated movement and breath. 
Washing gently helps maintain airflow, shape, and surface stability over time. 
To reduce microfiber release, we recommend washing less frequently and
using a dedicated laundry filter or bag when possible.

Each order is produced as close as possible to where you are. UNCLASSD relies on a network of regional production hubs to reduce distance, emissions, and delivery time.
Depending on your location, your order may be created and fulfilled from:

      Each CORE Mesh Dance Short is made to order and produced at the closest available facility based on your location.
      This approach allows us to avoid overproduction and keep production aligned with real demand.
    
      Depending on the fulfillment center, the traceability of the blank garment is as follows:
    
        EU fulfillment: knitting and dyeing in China, final manufacturing in Latvia.
      
        US fulfillment: knitting, dyeing, and manufacturing in Mexico.
      
      Fabric certifications include OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
      The recycled content of the fabric is certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) for EU-manufactured items
      and by the Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) for items manufactured in the US.
    
      This product contains 0% listed dangerous substances according to supplier documentation.
      As with all synthetic textiles, washing may release plastic microfibers into the environment.
