How to Measure Correctly

Option 1 — Measure a sweatshirt you already own

  1. Lay your crewneck flat on a table.
  2. Body length: measure from the top of the shoulder (next to the neckline) down to the bottom hem.
  3. Body width: measure straight across from armpit to armpit, then multiply by 2 for circumference.

Option 2 — Measure your body

  1. Use a soft measuring tape and stand relaxed.
  2. Chest: measure around the fullest part of your chest, tape parallel to the floor.
  3. Pick the size whose body width is equal to or slightly above your chest circumference for comfort in motion.
